Is cinnamon bad for cats?

I have an ant problem in my kitchen and I heard that cinnamon would work on keeping them at bay. I have two cats though and I want to make sure that cinnamon isn't bad for them. Can anyone help?

1. cinnamon is fine for cats. Mine eat it all the time....seriously. The ants will be better gotten rid of by aggressive mopping. This disrupts their scent trails.
2. it isnt bad for them but too much can give them REALLY REALLY BAD GAS and runny poo so just dont let them eat too much and the ants will go away because of the strong scent and the large amounts of the cinnamon will be to strong for them
3. cinnimon is okay for cats, my cat occasionaly eats cinnamon.
