The lunch room ladies at my school used to make really good cinnamon rolls from scratch, anyone have a recipe? I'd really like to be able to make some really good cinnamon rolls like the ones I used to eat at the school cafeteria when I was in school. They were a little dense like not fluffy like the ones that are available at the grocery stores. I think I remember them having walnuts sprinkled on them too. It's been a while since I graduated and I've never ever been able to find cinnamon rolls that taste even close to the ones from my school cafeteria. Does anyone have a really good cinnamon roll recipe that makes dense-like cinnamon rolls (NOT fluffy ones)? I'd like to make them this weekend. Thanks!

Ginger and cinnamon cake recipe wanted? I saw a really great movie on the Sundance Channel called "Ginger and Cinnamon" about a woman who travels with her neice from Spain to Greece. Her ex-boyfriend use to make a ginger and cinnamon cake as a peace offering when they fought, and when I got a look at this cake, I wanted to find a recipe of my own. Recipe for cinnamon raisin scones? I had a great recipe for cinnamon raisin scones that I used to make around Christmas time. I cannot for the life of me find it. The recipe called for raisins, cinnamon, vanilla, milk, eggs, sugar, and flour. The scones were made by making the dough into a large ball, flattening it out, and cutting it into eighths like a pizza. Do you have a recipe for Muffin Pan Cinnamon Rolls with pecans? These are the kind I have seen at church socials for many, many years. They are not raised rolls and are also not sticky buns. They are usually made from very thin roll layers coated with cinnamon sugar and nuts and are probably rolled then cut and baked in muffin tins (because of the shape you nearly always see). I love these little rolls and they seem like they would be pretty easy to make, with the proper recipe of course.
